Improved track changes
The track changes view in version comparison mode has
been
upgraded, to give higher fidelity to complex changes. If you've not used
the track
changes feature before, here's a getting
started guide.

Improved git server
In January we released an early version
of git-sync, to enable you to work offline and sync your changes
back to your online Overleaf account. We've been working hard
to improve stability this month, and have now released an updated
git server which is much more robust. Find out how
to get started here.

New Templates and Submission Links
|
Nature
Publishing Group: Scientific Data & Scientific Reports
Overleaf is
happy to
establish a new partnership with Scientific Data and Scientific Reports from
Nature
Publishing Group - creating new templates and submission links bespoke to each journal
within the Overleaf platform.
Overleaf users will now be able to write in the correct template and format to publish in Scientific
Data and/or Scientific Reports. Once the document is complete, the user can
submit to
either journal using the submission links.

better support for authors who wish to prepare their manuscripts in LaTeX”, said

Genetics Society
of
America
Overleaf is delighted to
announce a new
partnership with The Genetics Society of
America
(GSA). Through this partnership, authors submitting to GSA’s GENETICS and
G3:
Genes|Genomes|Genetics journals will soon have access to Overleaf. Custom GSA
journal
templates will be available to help authors write and publish their work in the
correct
journal format. The partnership allows GSA Journal authors to access the
Overleaf
scientific writing service directly, using links from the GENETICS and G3
manuscript
submission sites. Once the author has completed writing and collaborating on a
document
in Overleaf, they will be able to submit directly to the GENETICS or G3
journals using
a link from Overleaf. Full launch of the templates and submission links will be
available in March 2015.

Overleaf

Oxford
University Press. Evolution, Medicine, and Public Health’s Clinical
Briefs
are pioneering, one-page summaries of evolutionary thought as applied to
clinical
conditions and pathologies. Clinical Briefs are designed to be accessible
in style
and useful for medical practitioners.
Once your Clinical Brief
is ready for
submission, all you have to do is click the “Submit to EMPH”
option
from within Overleaf to download all the files required for submission and
to be
taken to the EMPH submission portal to complete the process.
