Overleaf is happy to partner with Living Light to provide 6 months of free Pro+ access to our LaTeX authoring tool, resources, templates and training materials to attendees at the Living Light conference, Cambridge (UK) 2018. This offer will end on 14.09.2018.

Living Light is a biennial interdisciplinary conference focusing on light-matter interaction in living organisms. Book design inspired by Edward Tufte

Edward Tufte is a pioneer in the field of data visualization, and his works inspired the creation of two LaTeX classes for books and handouts. Here we present the excellent sample book produced by the The Tufte-LaTeX Developers pre-loaded into Overleaf (formerly writeLaTeX) for you to use as a starting point for your own work. Template for preparing your research report submission to PNAS using Overleaf (2023)Offiziell

The NAS has created this template for authors submitting research reports to PNAS. The template allows authors to easily prepare and edit their Contributed or Direct Submission manuscripts using Overleaf. Authors can then submit manuscripts to PNAS by using the PDF and source files generated by Overleaf. To begin writing online (in your browser), simply click the Open as Template button above. The Overleaf PNAS template will be loaded, and additional guidelines for preparing your submission are included within the template itself.

Universal manuscript template for Optica Publishing Group journals

LaTeX manuscripts submitted to Optica Publishing Group journals may use these instructions and this universal template format. The template simplifies manuscript preparation and eases transfer between Optica journals. Applied Optics, Journal of Optical Communications and Networking, JOSA A, JOSA B, Optics Letters, Optica and Photonics Research authors may also use the previous, legacy templates, particularly if a precise length estimate is needed. Authors will still need to adhere to article-length restrictions based on the final, published format. Once your article is complete, you may submit it directly to Prism (Optica's article tracking system) via the 'Submit to Optica' option in the Overleaf editor.

What's a "Pro+" account, and what happens when the promotion is over?

At the end of the promotion, you may choose to continue as Overleaf Pro+ subscriber, or your account will revert to the Overleaf Free plan. Any data or papers saved in Overleaf will continue to be accessible.
