Template for a PhD thesis following the TU Delft corporate design, using the font family Roboto Slab and Arial or alternatively using the LaTeX package ‘Fourier’. The template extends and updates the dissertation template by K. P. Hart and Wouter Bolsterlee. The source files can be found on Gitlab. It is designed to work with LuaLaTeX and PdfLaTeX (faster but less features and less fancy font support).

LaTeX template based upon The University of Manchester Presentation of Theses Policy which relates to the examination of doctoral and MPhil degrees at The University of Manchester and applies to full-time and part-time postgraduate research students of the following degrees: Doctoral degrees: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD); Doctor of Medicine (MD) Doctor of Business Administration (DBA); Professional, Engineering and Enterprise Doctorates; Master of Philosophy (MPhil). This template has been checked to be compliant with the 2026 requirements. Responsibility for ensuring compliance with the University of Manchester Presentation of Theses Policy remains with the candidate. Note there is a newer template available in the Overleaf Gallery which adds the \DocumentMetaData command to give access to more modern features. That template is probably more suitable for use for new starts than this template, unless you find there is something that doesn't work for your needs.
